Installing eBookWorkflow
All the software mentioned on this page is of the "freeware" or "shareware" type.
Portable application
- eBookWorkflow is 100% standalone.
- It does not use the Windows registry.
- It must be installed in a folder with write permission (so NOT IN C:\Program Files").
- It can be installed wherever you want.
- It can be moved later wherever you want.
Install the program
- Install 7-Zip: www.7-zip.org
- 7-Zip will be essential to use eBookWorkflow. - Download eBookWorkflow: eBookWorkflow-install.7z (archived file)
- If necessary, create the folder where you want to install eBookWorkflow.
- Move the archived file to this folder. - Extract the files:
- Right-click on the file.
- Select 7-Zip, Extract here - Create a shortcut: on the desktop
- Shift+Ctrl+Left click on the eBookWorkflow.exe file.
- Drag to create the shortcut.
Initial configuration
- Install LibreOffice: www.LibreOffice.org
- LibreOffice will be essential to use eBookWorkflow. - Launch the eBookWorkflow.exe program
- Click on the icon
- The installation is done in two integrated steps one after the other:
1. Installing the extension (plugin) in LibreOffice (or OpenOffice).
2. Initializing the macro. - You can repeat this operation as many times as you want.
- You will need to repeat it if you move eBookWorkflow to another folder.
